What do you think about English? Is it English is universal language or just language that had been used for a certain people. For me, I'm agree with the question that say English is the universal language. But first let take a look about the history of English language. English is a West Germanic language that originated from Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain in the mid 5th to 7th centuries AD by Anglo-Saxon migrants from what is now northwest Germany, southern Denmark and the Netherlands. With this information, we can see that English has been use for a long time ago. So, in this blog, I want to share 3 point or information about our topic for today.
(THOUGHTS)
1. Travel
If we went to the oversea ; Japan, Korean, Italy, Belgium or United States, we will speak English to the people there even though we know that their mother tounge is not English. Why? It is because we has confirm that English is known as Universal language. Get it?
2. Mother Tounge
If we know that there are a lot of country has consider that English Language is their mother tounge or first language. With my some research, there are the total 67 that consider their mother tounge is English. What are the country? For example that is United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Jamaica, Bahamas and Guyana. What about Malaysia? Malaysia consider English Language as a second language after Bahasa Melayu. In school, we always study about grammar such as vocabulary, present tense and past tense and also need to score in English on exam.
3. Entertainment
Lastly, let's take a look how English language is dominate in entertainment. Just a simple example, have you went to cinema to watch Malay movie. I guess yes, you have. When you are watching Malay movie, look at the subtitle, what language that they use to translate it. Is it English? Yes, of course. But, in Malaysia they also use Mandarin too in cinema as a subtitle. So with this point, we can see that how English language is considered as a universal language.
The conclusion for my blog for today, if we know how to speak in English or have study in English, but don't forget about our mother tounge. As we know in Malaysia, we use Bahasa Melayu as a first language or our mother tounge. Just want to know how great are your mother tounge is? I think for me my mother tounge is very well but English language, is not very good but I will practice it more and study more hard.

I think that all people around this world need to know to speak English Language. Its's really important to everyone because in this world, we use English as our language speaking if we want to ask and tell the people from another country.
Beside that, I'm also really happy because I was born with people that really supportive. My family, friends and also teacher will always help me to learn English Language as a my secondary language after Bahasa Melayu.

- English will be used if we want to speak with people from another country like Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
- You can get better job and salary if you can speak in English fluently.
- It can help you get into great schools or study in good university.
